Venues: Amy’c Clothing Design, Central, Hong Kong
《Fabric》is a site-specific work that collaborated with Elyse Lai and Fashion designer Amy Wong who aims to create clothing which, based primarily on Chinese painting ideology, and express elements of east-west cultural exchange while at the same time portraying the spirit of the modern woman.
The choreography created with different size of fabric and various styles of clothes to develop movement and ideas.
From a fabric become clothes,
From clothes become a rope,
From a rope become a cage.
We are hiding ourselves under the clothes in order to be the people we think we should be or who we think society expects us to be. By time to time, we lost.
